At the appropriate time, property owners will be contacted, or directed to contact ETC, to get their orders lined up.

We can do installations quicker with your help. Our goal is to maximize the number of fiber installations we can do per day.
Property owners who are flexible with their appointment time enable us to work more appointments in a day.
The more flexible owners can be, the quicker we can move through the phase.

ETC Awarded $2.0 Million Last Mile Broadband Grant in Polk County
Polk County, TN – May 6, 2024 – ETC Communications is proud to announce that it has been awarded a significant Last Mile grant as part of the Tennessee Governor Bill Lee and the Department of Economic and Community Development (TNECD) initiative to enhance digital infrastructure across the state. The TNECD has allocated a total of $162.7 million towards this effort, with ETC Communications receiving $2,001,745.20 to serve 161 unserved broadband locations in Polk County.
This grant will facilitate the expansion of broadband access in Polk County, ensuring that previously underserved areas are connected to reliable and high-speed internet. ETC Communications plans to deploy 82 miles of fiber optic infrastructure as part of this project, enabling residents and businesses in Polk County to access the benefits of fast and reliable internet connectivity.
Commenting on this award, Jason Smith, COO of ETC Communications, expressed his excitement about the opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of the community: “We are thrilled to have been awarded this Last Mile grant, which will allow us to significantly improve broadband access in Polk County.
